Do the work

When they say ’do the work’ most people think it’s affirmations, a daily ritual and journaling but for me doing the work is diving deep to heal all versions of me, the inner child, the inner teen, the young woman, the dreamer, the mother, the daughter... all versions.
Often this looks like meditation, connecting to my Higher Self, my Guides, plus journaling, postive mindset, allowing my emotions space to be moved through and a lot of forgiveness of self.
Then sharing my fears with my coaches.
Calling on Goddess energy, checking in on the balance of my inner divine masculine and feminine... and truth be told many tears, moments of anger and asking to quit, then slowly a surrender and moving to a deeper understanding of what old beliefs I am letting go of. Ancestral, past lives, current life... it’s usually ego related, wrapped up in an expectaction not met or illusion created a long time ago and carried far too long.
Doing the work can feel challenging, rewarding, confronting, exhilarating, suffocating and then freeing. It’s a process and one that can’t be rushed. We all go at our own speed, in own truth.
I keep in mind that the work I do now, releases me from coming back and doing it again and moves through my family line.
Forgiveness of self is one of the most powerful gifts you can give yourself.
