As you journey through life you will be asked time and again to let go.
Let go of the habits that once kept you feeling secure, jobs, homes, ideals, dreams and people ...through healthier choices, break ups, misunderstanding, distance or death....all of it in a quest to discover the true essence of you.
How does death help you discover your true essence?
No one you connect to in this life shows up by accident. We have contracts to share our journey with many other souls, sometimes we hold on longer than we need to and other times it seems like it was never long enough.
Each person, negative or positive is here to aid you in your soul growth.
Whether it is opening you to more love, helping you learn to receive, learning to create strong boundaries, finding you inner strength or just learning to love yourself...they are all here to help you get to know yourself better.
Giving you an opportunity to grow, to love more and to be in your true essence.
Yes, even the ones that are the hardest to be around, they teach you boundaries, self love and empowerment....if you choose.
So when you let go there is always an element of grief.
Even if the decision feels empowering, to let go of someone or something that no longer brings joy or positive energy into your life, you still need to allow for grief and sometimes the grieving is for the part of YOU that you are letting go.
The part of you that attracted and needed that energy for growth.
We celebrate our growth but we acknowledge that each time we up level we are shedding a layer of ourselves that we do not wish to carry with us into the next step and we are allowed to grieve the loss of that version of ourselves.
We thank it for carrying us this far and let it go, integrating the shadow energy of that part of you that made decisions you longer align with.
It can feel like a time of low energy, of wanting to hibernate.
It is integrating energetically the shift.
As you release, you create space and your energy needs time to acknowledge the change.
Always give yourself time to nurture you when you create big changes in your life.
Letting go is a energy shift and change is exciting but part of this human existence is that some of us are always going to be wary of change so go gently.
New takes time to settle.
Allow yourself time to grieve for the old version of you that did the best with what they could and then take the next step that is calling you.
